Nolea Health wins the Fast Start: Innovate UK award
On the 1st of November 2022, Innovate UK named Nolea Health the winner of its Fast Start: Innovation for net zero and healthcare award. The award recognises highly innovative small UK businesses that have shown affordable, adaptable, and investable solutions that help support The UK Innovation Strategy, which sets out the government’s vision to make the UK a global hub for innovation by 2035.
Being recognised by Innovate UK and winning the Fast Start grant gives us such a huge milestone for Nolea Health as we embark on our mission to solve the growing healthcare staff shortage problem and increase access to scare clinician talent whilst reducing patient wait times,” says Richie Dawes, Founder and CEO at Nolea Health.
Nolea Health is tackling the growing workforce shortage problem within the mental healthcare space with our white-labelled clinician marketplace platform. The award-winning project proposal demonstrated our plans to build an AI-driven role matching: linking our network of clinician candidates to jobs from the private and NHS healthcare market using machine learning in big structured data.
“Nolea Health makes a good case for the platform they propose to develop for the placement of healthcare staff in a way that optimises the efficient and effective use of scarce resources. The problems they seek to address are stated. The team is well qualified to progress the project and has described a robust commercialisation strategy,” says Innovate UK Grant Assessor.
Established in January 2022, Nolea Health was funded by the global community and accelerator Ondeck, won the Google Black Founder Fund grant and network support and is currently trailing its staffing marketplace technology with pilot customers ahead of our official public launch in 2022.
